Terms of Sale
These Terms of Sale apply to purchases of the Skipper system from:
Seller: rdGizmo For You LTD
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Sale, the Warranty and Returns Policy, and the Safety and Responsible Use notice.
1. The Skipper system
Skipper is supplied as a complete standard hardware-and-software system with the components and supported features described on the Get Skipper page and in the order confirmation.
Images and descriptions are provided to represent the product accurately. Minor changes may be made to components where necessary, provided that they do not materially reduce the stated functionality or quality of the system.
2. Availability and ordering
Skipper is produced in limited batches.
Submitting an enquiry or using the Check Availability button does not create an order or reserve a unit.
We will confirm:
- Current availability
- The product price
- Included components
- Delivery cost
- Estimated preparation and delivery time
- Any relevant installation requirements
An order becomes binding when payment has been received and we send written confirmation accepting the order.
We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where the product is unavailable, delivery cannot reasonably be arranged, payment cannot be verified, or an obvious pricing or description error has occurred. Any payment already received will be refunded.
3. Prices and payment
The Skipper system price is shown in euros.
Prices include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges and any other unavoidable costs will be communicated before the order is confirmed.
Payment must be made using the payment method stated in the order information or invoice.
The customer is responsible for any import duties, customs charges, taxes, or handling fees imposed outside Cyprus/the European Union, unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Delivery
Skipper will be delivered to the address confirmed with the order.
The expected preparation and delivery period will be stated before payment. Delivery dates are estimates unless a specific date has been expressly agreed in writing.
We are responsible for the product until it is delivered into the physical possession of the customer or a person nominated by the customer, except where the customer independently arranges a carrier that was not offered by us.
The customer must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and should inspect the package for visible transport damage when it arrives.
Any visible damage, missing components, or delivery problems should be reported as soon as reasonably possible.
5. Cancellations and withdrawal
You may request cancellation before dispatch by contacting us.
Consumers purchasing at a distance may also have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase after delivery. Details of this right and the return procedure are set out in the Warranty and Returns Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right that applies by law.
6. Installation and operation
Skipper must be installed, powered, positioned, and operated according to the supplied documentation.
The customer is responsible for providing a suitable installation environment, power source, mounting arrangement, local network where required, and any other conditions described in the product documentation.
Unless expressly included in the order, physical installation at the customer’s location is not included in the product price.
7. Acceptable and responsible use
Skipper is an assistive AI system. It may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, misunderstood, or inappropriate responses.
The customer must not:
- Rely on Skipper as the sole source for emergency, medical, legal, navigational, safety-critical, or equipment-operating decisions
- Follow an instruction that appears unsafe, unlawful, unreasonable, or inconsistent with established procedures
- Use the system for unlawful, abusive, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Circumvent safety controls or operate the system outside its documented conditions
- Make unauthorised electrical, hardware, or software modifications that may make the system unsafe
The Safety and Responsible Use notice forms part of these Terms.
8. Product ownership and software licence
Ownership of the physical Skipper unit passes to the customer once full payment has been received and the product has been delivered.
The Skipper software, documentation, branding, and original content remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.
The customer receives a non-exclusive licence to use the supplied Skipper software with the purchased system for personal or internal business purposes.
Third-party and open-source software remains subject to its own applicable licence terms.
Unless permitted by law or an applicable open-source licence, the customer may not copy, resell, distribute, or commercially exploit proprietary Skipper software separately from the supplied system.
9. Updates and support
Information about included support and available updates will be provided with the product or order confirmation.
Updates necessary to maintain the system’s stated conformity, functionality, or security will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the documented support arrangements.
The customer should install supplied updates within a reasonable time after being informed that they are available.
Support may require the customer to provide system information, logs, photographs, or other diagnostic details. Remote access will not be performed without the customer’s knowledge and agreement.
10. Liability and mandatory rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, defective products, or mandatory consumer protections.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by:
- Use contrary to the supplied instructions
- Unauthorised modifications
- Unsupported accessories or third-party services
- Failure to maintain suitable power or environmental conditions
- Reliance on an AI-generated response without reasonable verification
- Events outside our reasonable control
11. Complaints
Questions or complaints should be sent through the information available in the Contact Us page.
Please include the order number, product serial number, and a clear description of the issue.
We will aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and provide a full response as soon as reasonably possible. More complex matters may require additional time to investigate.
Information about any applicable alternative dispute-resolution procedure will be provided where required.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer’s country of residence.
13. Changes to these Terms
The version supplied or made available when an order is accepted will apply to that purchase.
Changes made later will not retrospectively alter an existing order unless agreed with the customer or required by law.
